These terms govern your use of Sadie — the website at hellosadie.dog and the Sadie mobile app. By using either, you agree to these terms. If you have questions, email us at hello@hellosadie.dog.
Sadie is operated by Ryan Rumbolt. We build tools that help shelter dogs get seen by people who can help them. We are not a shelter, an adoption agency, or an animal services organization.
Sadie aggregates publicly available shelter data and makes it easy to share dogs who are at risk. We do our best to keep that data accurate, but we can't guarantee it. Shelter records change fast, and we're pulling from third-party sources.

You agree to use Sadie for its intended purpose — finding and sharing dogs who need help. You agree not to:
We reserve the right to suspend or permanently remove any account that violates these terms, without notice.
Karma points and badges are how Sadie tracks your impact. They have no monetary value, cannot be transferred, and cannot be exchanged for cash or anything else. Ryan Rumbolt reserves the right to adjust, reset, or discontinue the karma system at any time.
You're responsible for keeping your account secure. If you think your account has been compromised, contact us at hello@hellosadie.dog immediately.
You can delete your account at any time by contacting us at the same address. When you delete your account, your data will be removed in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
Everything on Sadie — the name, logo, design, copy, and code — belongs to Ryan Rumbolt. You're welcome to share content from Sadie for the purpose of helping dogs, but you can't reproduce or repurpose it commercially without our permission.
If you submit content through the app (profile information, for example), you keep ownership of it. By submitting it, you give Ryan Rumbolt a non-exclusive license to display and use it to operate the service.
Sadie is provided as is. We work hard to keep it running and accurate, but we can't guarantee it will always be available or error-free. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Ryan Rumbolt is not liable for:
We may update these terms from time to time. If we make significant changes, we'll update the date at the top and do our best to notify you. Continuing to use Sadie after changes are posted means you accept the updated terms.
These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Nova Scotia, Canada. Any disputes will be handled there.
